Konkon is sick ...
Went back over to my parents' place for the last weekend ... Konkon is down with fever and rashes again ... He is very cranky these few days ... I guess because he is feeling rather uncomfortable ba ... And also he is teething .... His first tooth came out when he was 7th months old ... He is crying very often and all he needs is hugs and stick around with me ... How simple and sweet is that ? It's so nice to be baby when all you need is always something so simple and pure ...
All the morning crying faces ...
See ... Swollen lids
And unhappy face ...

Happy Fathers' Day
Decided to do this on a separate entry ....
Today is Father's Day ... Hubby is not around .. But it's ok ... I whatsapp him Happy Papa Day ... haha ..
Went to church this morning with Su. Took the bulletin and saw something interesting written on it and decided to share it ... Here it goes ...
Honouring Fathers
Father's Day is a celebration honouring fathers. Fathers are often misunderstood and unappreciated. The strong image of a father sometimes makes him look like a tough task master. Moreover, many dads aren't very good communicators (especially when compared to mums) and they don't always know how to show affection for their children. Thus their children may miss the soft side of their father's heart. In many families, fathers are the sole bread winners, working hard to provide for their families. Many men come home burdened by problems and challenges at work, and therefore, have little emotional energy left for their family. All these can easily add up to the image of an uncaring person.
No father is perfect except God our Heavenly Father. Expecting and waiting for a perfect father is an exercise in futility. Most fathers know this fact but courageously embrace the awesome responsibility of fatherhood, doing their best with what they have. It is in this spirit that respect and honour must be given to all courageous men who aspire to be better fathers without giving excuses.
When we think about some of the things fathers do despite their many challenges, they do deserve respect and honour. Ponder over these ...
- He isn't afraid of the dark or of strange noises at night - a great companion to have when the children want to visit the toilet at night or when they want someone to lie beside them until they fall asleep.
- He is crazy enough to play computer games with his children, and lets them win sometimes.
- He is the one who carries the heavy luggage when the family goes on vacation.
- He is usually the one who takes the family pictures when the family is on vacation, which explains why you seldom see him in the pictures.
- He leaves from work (whenever possible) to watch his children run on Sports Day or to accompany them during 'Meet the Teachers' sessions.
- He brings his children to watch movies like Battleship and The Avengers. Watching movie with dad is fun because it comes with Popcorn and Coke.
- He is the brave one who kills cockroaches with his bare hand amidst the screaming mother and children.
- He chauffeurs his children to piano lessons, dance classes, taekwondo practice, and so on.
- He sometimes makes unpopular decisions for the sake of the family and stands by them.
- When he is wrong and makes a mistake, he will admit it and say sorry. He sets the tone for how family members treat one another.
- He shows his son how to relate to girls, and his daughter how to relate to guys. He looks out of the window anxiously for his daughter to come home on her first date.
- He is the children's cheer leader, affirming and applauding them when they do well, and comforting and encouraging them when they don't.
This Father's Day, ask God to show you how you may honour your dad in some tangible way. May the Lord grant all dads in our midst a Happy Father's Day!

To all Non-Christians, this is not preaching ... Just wanna say Happy Father's Day to all. And for those who is not yet a father. Hope this helps you to appreciate your Father better ....
And to Hubby ... Mummy and Konkon wishes you a Happy Papa Day!

Phone crashes ...
My iphone crashes after I tried to download something ... Damn. I don't know whether is it because of me trying to download that particular app or me having too much things in it or it just happened to crash. I tried to restore it but it just isn't the same. And now I am trying to restore it to factory settings. Nice. Got to do everything all over again. I lost all the photos in my phone. Luckily I uploaded it to flickr yesterday when I was at Lewis's place. Thank god.
Met up with Lewis yesterday for dim sum buffet yesterday. Took some pictures after we woke up ...
Kept my words, went to church on Sunday.
